This is the original prototype of the Holo-Clock. It holographically projects the time 16 inches into thin air! It relies on optics to create a virtual live 3 dimensional image in the open air without the need for any kind of a projection screen! In fact, if you place something in front of the projected numbers, you can see that the air is glowing as if there was an actual LED display in space!
